Howard Goettsch, 90

    AVOCA -- Howard Gustav Goettsch, 90, Avoca, died April 28 at Avoca Specialty Care.
    Services will be held Saturday, May 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Walnut with burial in the Layton Township Cemetery in Walnut.  A rosary will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the church.  Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the church.
    Goettsch is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Marguerite (Koppold) Goettsch of Walnut; daughter Cindy (Dean) Fornoff of Springfield, NE; sons Fred (Mary Lou) Goettsch of Hancock and Bob (Bernita) Goettsch of Avoca; brother-in-law Bob Lafrentz of Walnut; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.
