Helen C. Barta, 105

    DAVID CITY, NE - Helen Barta, 105, formerly of Persia, died Wed., Dec. 28 at St. Joseph’s Villa Nursing and Rehab Center in David City, NE.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held Mon., Jan. 2 at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima, Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Portsmouth.
    She is survived by her daughters Joyce (Wally) Polak, Bellevue, NE; Janice (Duane) Blowers, Fremont, NE; Judi (Donald) Feekin, Papillion, NE; Jacki Feige, La Vista, NE; Jerri (Max) Handbury, Persia; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home, Harlan, was in charge of the arrangements.
