Gary Smith, 71

    HARLAN -- Gary Lee Smith, 71, Harlan, died March 31 at his home.
    Services will be held Wednesday, April 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Visitation is Tuesday, April 4 from 4-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Smith is survived by his wife, Virginia Smith, of Harlan; sons Jon (Christine) Smith of Council Bluffs, Kevin Smith of Omaha, NE, Mark (Kerri) Smith of Elk Horn, and Mike Smith of Omaha; daughters Christina Smith of Shenandoah and Jodie Smith of Hastings, NE; 27 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
