Elmer Heimerman, 89

    BOONE -- Elmer Heimerman, 89, Boone, formerly of Harlan, died Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.
    Services will be held Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Boone.  Friends were asked to call Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel in Boone from 2-7 p.m., with family present from 5-7 p.m.
    A prayer service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at noon at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery with military honors.  Friends may call at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday.
    Heimerman is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Boone; daughter Judy Heimerman of Boone; sons Lynn (Joan) Heimerman of Harlan and Dale Heimerman of Manchester; brother Robert (Judy) Heimerman of Harlan; grandchildren Trish (Brent) Kiesel of Avoca and Trent (Laura) Heimerman of Harlan; great-granddaughter Lennox Kiesel of Avoca; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
