Doyle Gilland, Jr., 61

    SHELBY -- Doyle Eugene Gilland, Jr., 61, Shelby, died May 28 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
    Services will be held Saturday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca with burial in the Holy Family Cemetery in Lidderdale.  Visitation is Friday, May 31 from 4-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
    Gilland is survived by his wife, Julie (Kennebeck) Gilland of Shelby; daughter Katelyn (Matt Anderson) Gilland of Shelby; sons Gunner Gilland of Carroll and Garret Gilland of Carroll; grandson Brantley John Gilland of Carroll; brothers Rick (Cathy) Gilland of Council Bluffs, Ronnie Stewart of Sacramento, CA and Leslie (Pam) Davis of St. Augustine, FL; and sisters Kim Stewart of Council Bluffs and Mary (Jim) Latner of Atchison, KS.
