Dorothy Shannon, 96

    HARLAN -- Dorothy Irene Shannon, 96, Harlan, died July 21 at Elm Crest.
    Services will be held Wednesday, July 25 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Harlan with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Irwin.  Family will greet friends Tuesday, July 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.
    Shannon is survived by sons Denny (Diane) Shannon of Boone and Rodney (Noreen) Shannon of Manilla; daughters Janice (Maury) Salz of Honey Creek and Joan Shannon of Des Moines; brother Milton (Ruth Ann) Barry of Harlan; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
