Donald Langer, 89

    AVOCA -- Donald “Slim” Keith Langer, 89, Avoca, died May 4 at Avoca Specialty Care.
    Services will be held Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Minden Cemetery at Minden.  Family will greet friends Thursday, May 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
    Langer is survived by sons Doug Langer of Shelby and Dennis (Penny) Langer of Hancock; daughters Laurie (Craig) Tietjen of Lawrence, KS and Lynette Langer of Avoca; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
