Darlene Kenkel, 77

    BELLEVUE, NE -- Darlene Bernice Kenkel, 77, Bellevue, NE, died January 31 at Hillcrest Care & Rehabilitation Center.
    Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.  A rosary will be held Friday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation is Friday from 3-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4-8 p.m. at the church.
    Kenkel is survived by her husband, Jim Kenkel, of Earling; daughters Kathy (Stephen) Welsh of Columbia, MO, Karla (Tom) Anderson of Overland Park, KS, and Michelle Kenkel Powell of Logan; son Jeff (Michelle) Kenkel of Omaha, NE; brothers Alvin Heller of Harlan, Rich Heller of Portsmouth, Phil (Dormae) Heller of Portsmouth, and Veral (Mary) Heller of Green Valley, AZ; sisters Mary (Bob) Finken of Earling and Bonnie (Gene) Thielen of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
