Christian Blum, 83

    HARLAN -- Christian J. Blum, 83, Harlan, died June 5 at Myrtue Medical Center.
    Services will be held Saturday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Panama.  A rosary will be held Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Panama.  Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the parish center.
    Blum is survived by his wife, Patricia (Freund) Blum of Harlan; sons Dean (Bracinda) Blum of Woodbine and Kenny (Mae) Blum of Woodbine; daughters Connie (Al) Tielebein of Norwalk, Janet (Dan) Hansen of Earling, JoAnn (Monte) Hubbard of Wheatland, WY, Karen Blum of Chicago, IL and Sue Kratky of Fairway, KS; brother Charles Blum of Panama; sisters Sr. Joyce Blum of Panama, Alice (Jerry) Zimmerman of Minden, Jeanne (LeRoy) Heese of Defiance and Judy Clark of Omaha, NE; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
