Betty Holtz, 85

    DENVER, CO -- Betty Jean Holtz of Denver, CO, formerly of Avoca, died August 14 in Colorado.
    Services will be held Friday, Aug. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery.  Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 18 from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
    She is survived by her husband, Clarence Holtz, of Windsor, CO; daughter Debra (David) Kay of Denver; son Mike (Kim) Holtz of Windsor, CO; sister Maxine (Gene) Sornsen of Avoca; brother-in-law Duane Campbell of Denver; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.
