Bernice Stracke, 100

    AVOCA -- Bernice C. Stracke, 100, Avoca, died January 9 at Avoca Specialty Care.
    Services will be held Monday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery at Westphalia.  A wake service will be held Sunday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.  Visitation is Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Stracke is survived by sons Lenny (Ellen) Stracke of Perry and David (Deb) Stracke of Harlan; daughters Grace (Ron) Stava of Omaha, NE, Diane (Gary) Weihs of Harlan and Mary (Greg) Stava of Elkhorn, NE; sister Marilyn Rauterkus of Omaha; sister-in-law Dorothy Coenen of Woodbine; and 21 grandchildren.
