Berneice Peters, 98

    WALNUT -- Berneice Peters, 98, Walnut, died August 22 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Monday, Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Layton Township Cemetery in Walnut.  Visitation will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the church.
    Peters is survived by daughter Joanne (Glen) Steinbach of Bonners Ferry, ID; sons Darrell (Judy) Peters of Minden and Keith (Teresa) Peters of Surprise, AZ; daughter-in-law Leah Peters of La Vista, NE; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.
