Anthony Olhava, Jr., 83

    DENISON -- Anthony “Tony” Olhava, Jr., 83, Denison, died Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn.
    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Persia with inurnment at the Valley View Cemetery in Persia.
    Olhava is survived by his wife, Renate Olhava, of Denison; children Renona (Dennis) Crawford of Grinnell, Douglas (Kimberly) Olhava of Garner, and Heidee (Alan) Thompson of Coal Valley, IL; 10 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; and sisters Gwen Riskowski of Omaha, NE and Pauline (Robert) Huebner of Council Bluffs.
    Pauley Jones Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison is in charge of arrangements.  Friends were asked to call Thursday, Sept. 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the church.
