Tori’s Angels sponsors Harlan’s Jaxon Rold

HARLAN -- Tori’s Angels Foundation has recently accepted 8-year-old Jaxon Rold, son of Trent Rold and Devin Mahoney of Harlan, as their 20th sponsored child.
He is undergoing chemo and radiation treatments to fight a brain tumor.
Jaxon is Tori’s Angels’ third sponsored child with ties to Harlan.  The first was Derek Ellerbeck, who was the grandson of Gene and Jan Wilwerding of Harlan.  The second is Izzy Clark, daughter of Cory and Katie Clark, formerly of Harlan.
Jaxon and other sponsored children will be celebrated at the foundation’s annual free-will offering breakfast benefit on Sunday, July 17, at the Panora Community Center.  Pancakes, sausage links, eggs, milk, juice, and coffee will be served from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.  A silent auction will feature a solid-ash porch swing, child’s custom-made oak rocker, hope chest, toddler’s frog musical rocker, Pampered Chef gift bowl set, and much more.  The public is invited for breakfast and to meet the children able to attend the event.
