SOLAR PROPOSAL

Conversion becoming more possible with technological innovations and efficiency

HARLAN – Harlan Community will be hosting a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Festival Extravaganza Tuesday, March 22, highlighting student achievements in STEM.
Approximately 40 booths will be showcased with STEM projects, as students share with the public the types of projects they have learned and will present through demonstrations of their projects at the event.
“It’s really kind of a celebration of the community support of STEM,” said Justin Wagner, HCS Superintendent of Schools.  “The kids are excited.
“You’re going to see a lot of cool stuff.  There’ll be drones flying around.  We’ll have night vision goggles…things going semi boom.  It’s going to be really exciting.”
Iowa Public Television will be on hand covering the event.  It runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the HCS Primary and Intermediate Schools gymnasiums.
