Student council members representing the Light the Night Walk held April 30, 2017 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of HCHS educators Julie DuVal and Mitch Osborn. HCHS was named the top fundraising school in Iowa with the event, raising more than $18,000 to donate to LLS. Members L to R are Camron Buck, Abigail Jacobsen, Kara Rueschenberg and Andrea Ferry Chad and Janelle Sears, representing the HCHS Booster Club, along with HCHS Activities Director Mitch Osborn and Patti Miller. Miller was presenting the club a monetary donation ($600) in memory of her husband, Larry Miller, a founding member of the booster club and longtime athletic booster who passed away recently. Poms cheering on the Cyclone ball teams included L to R -- Macy Neese, Megan Andersen, Justina Borgman and Nicole Goshorn. Students sold bracelets at the event to raise funds for Cancer research.
