Myrtue CEO Jacobsen surprised by comments; offers rebuttal

    HARLAN – Myrtue Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Barry Jacobsen said Wednesday he was surprised by the comments of a Harlan resident at Tuesday’s medical center budget hearing critical of the hospital’s overall financial picture, decision-making and direction.
    Especially since he, nor any board member or chief financial officer Kristi Hansen, had been contacted before Tuesday to voice such concerns.
