It’s a STEM EXTRAVAGANZA!

HARLAN -- Approximately 500 people turned out Tuesday night, March 22 for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Extravaganza held at the Harlan Community Schools.
    Some of the amazing projects showcased by students included:  Kaede Loudy works on the go-cart he built, ready to show off to those in attendance. Kami Stork makes protein energy bites at a food science booth.  Isaac Jones tightens the gears on the treads of his lunar space rover.  High school students Mason Chamberlain, Alex Dotzler, Adam Kohl and Nadia Baxter watch their quadcopter fly.  (Photos by Kim Wegener)
