Harlan the Christmas City 2017

Financial support, volunteers still needed

HARLAN -- Harlan The Christmas City holiday lights glowing. Homes, businesses and city streets are brimming with traditional Christmas lights.
Locations include the Historic Downtown Courthouse Square and Pioneer Park. There are tens of thousands of lights, beautiful displays, and a Santa Workshop constructed by the 2016 HCHS Building Construction Class.
Pioneer Park between Pine and Willow on 12th St. is filled with lighted characters, tin soldiers, Santas, Nativity Scene and more. The nativity scene reflects in the pond.
Santa is on his motorcycle on the two-mile walking trail touring the numerous displays at Pioneer Park. All of the displays are installed, maintained, dismantled, and moved to storage by local volunteers giving countless hours. Donations, comments and suggestions are always welcomed.
Contributions and donations from our community and visitors make these holiday displays possible. Harlan The Christmas City is a 501 C3 nonprofit corporation.  All donations are tax deductible.
