Airport runway project nearing its completion

    HARLAN – Renovations at the Harlan Airport are coming to a close this fall, as a $1.2 million runway paving project is nearly complete and Rushenberg Field gets set to re-open to aviation traffic.
    Crews this week are nearing the finish of a 3,000-foot, six-inch concrete overlay construction project that began in early September.  Harlan City Administrator Terry Cox said it’s exciting to see the project come to fruition.
