Birthday card shower will help Ted Williams celebrate 93rd

ALTOONA -- Ted Williams marked his 93rd birthday on January 17. A card shower is planned in his honor. Cards will reach him if sent to 836 Elmwood Court, Altoona, IA 50009. A party was held in his honor. See the front page of the January 22 Harlan Tribune for details.
Williams is a former HCHS teacher. His wife is the late Donna Williams. She was the first female Shelby County Recorder.
